Seas of Morocco
Mediterranean: The Mediterranean has a very weak tide (20–40 cm) except the Gulf of Gabès. Wind, pressure and sea state after storms (nawa) matter most for fishing.
Atlantic Ocean: The Atlantic has strong tides (2–4 m) twice a day, and swell with northwesterly wind decide shore-fishing days.

Laws & safety
Recreational shore fishing is mostly allowed; boats need a licence. Biological rest for some species. Clocks go back one hour in Ramadan.
Wear a life jacket, tell someone where you are, and don't take a boat out if wind exceeds 28 km/h or waves exceed 1 m.
